These pictures were taken during the Club's visit to Ziegler's Green House and Aquatic Nursery, 164 Manor church Road, Columbia, PA 17512, 717-285-4998 , April 30, 2005, Saturday, 5:30pm

From Prospect Road Exit off Rt 30 - turn right (if heading east) or left (if heading west) onto Prospect Road (south). Travel approximately one block to light/intersection of Prospect Road and 462. Proceed directly across intersection staying on Prospect Road. Very shortly you'll come to a Y in the road. Bear left and stay on Prospect Road (you'll pass under a one-lane bridge). Very shortly after that you'll turn left onto Seitz Road. Follow Seitz Road approximately 1/2 mile and take a left onto Manor Church Road. Proceed 1/4 mile and the Greenhouse parking lot will be to the right.

From the Mountville exit off Rt 30 - turn left (if heading west) or right (if heading east) onto Stony Battery Road (south). this will immediately become College Avenue. Go approximately 1 mile on this road until you reach Rt 462 (Main Street). Make a right onto Rt 462 (towards Columbia) and proceed one block. At the traffic light make a left onto Manor Street, which will eventually become Central Manor Road. Travel 1.3 miles on this road. Then turn right onto Manor Church Road (just before the large church on the right). Proceed 1/4 mile and the Greenhouse parking lot will be on the left.

The evening was cloudy and overcast... it looked like it might rain at any minute, but thankfully it held off until we were through eating.  Thanks to all the Club members that brought great "eats"... especially the "chocolate things" for desert! There was also a great white & orange marble cake! The real food was good, but WOW... the DESERTS!! You gotta come to these meetings for the deserts if nothing else! <grin>

When it finally did start to rain we all invaded Tom & Kathy's home where Tom continued to share with us his knowledge and experience of all things aquatic! It was a great evening and our thanks go out to Tom & Kathy for being super hosts. And, Kathy... we're sorry we tracked so much mud into your house!

Club members are reminded that this year's dues of $10 per year per family are now due.

This is the entrance & parking lot
for the Greenhouse & Nursery.
It was getting pretty late in the
evening when I took this picture.
