Activities for the 2005 Summer Season
 

  April 30, 2005 - 5:30pm, (rain or shine) Ziegler's Green House and Aquatic Nursery, 164 Manor church Road, Columbia, PA 17512, 717-285-4998. See their web site: www.zieglersponds.com This is a field trip to one of our Club Sponser's place of business. You'll see lots of plants and fish and hear all about them. Refreshments will be served... as usual! Activities start at 5:30pm.

    May 17, 2005 - 7:00pm, Lamar & Melenie Lutz, 33 Tara Drive, Lititz, PA 17543, 717-626-7254. This is a Club Visitation to one of our member's home and water garden.

    May 28, 2005 - 2:00pm, Visit Melvin Pankuch’s house in New Holland to see his many ponds, waterfalls and a railroad going through his yard and garden. This will be at 58 Hiester Ave. in New Holland. Come join us for an enlightened visit to this beautiful site

Take Rt 23 into New Holand. turn left onto Hiester Avenue

    June 21, 2005 - 7:00pm, Vinessa Berk, 3725 Horizon Drive, Columbia, PA 17512; 717-285-5804. This is a Club Visitation to one of our member's home and water garden.

From Rt 30 - Take the Mountville exit and turn towards Mountville. Pass the new Mountville Elementary School, make a hard right turn at the traffic light at the OLD Mountville Elementary School. Go about 1/2 mile, turn left at the intersection (Horizon Drive) at the top of the hill. After going through stop sign proceed to 3725 Horizon Drive. It will be the 4th house on the right. The number is on the mail box.   July 23, 2005, 2:00pm, Bonnie & Charles White, 316 Laurel Drive, York, PA 17406. This is a Club Visitation to one of our member's home and water garden. This will also be a Club Picnic. Club members are asked to bring a covered dish. Hot dogs & hamburgers will be provided by the Club. Activity begins at 2:00pm. Dr. Bob Russo, noted koi breeder will be there to talk with us about koi and water gardening.

  August 25, 2005, 7:00pm,  Judy Harnish, 168 Whitmer Road, Lancaster PA 17602 (near the new Target store); 717-392-7747. This is a Club Visitation to one of our member's home and water garden.

    September 24, 2005, 3:00pm - 5:00pm, Jeff and Karla Mull, 878 Church Street, Landisville, PA 17538, 717-892-4998. This is a Club Visitation to one of our member's home and water garden. The scheduled speaker will not be available for this date. We will re-schedule her for another time.

    October 18, 2005, 7:00 pm. This will be an indoor meeting at HACC. Come see the atrium water garden display at this site. It is planted with all tropical vegetation. Speaker will be Jim Pontz on optical lighting.

Traveling East Rt. 283/30:

Exit at the Greenfield Road Exit and proceed to traffic light.
At traffic light, turn left onto Greenfield Road.
At next traffic light, turn right onto Old Philadelphia Pike.

Traveling West on Rt. 30:

Exit at Greenfield Road Exit and proceed to traffic light.
At traffic light, turn left onto Greenfield Road.
At second traffic light turn right onto Old Philadelphia Pike.
Campus on right.

Traveling from downtown Lancaster:

Traveling East on King Street from downtown, proceed over the Conestoga River to the traffic light at the intersection ­ King St. (Rt. 462) and Pitney Road/ Lampeter Road.
Bear left onto Old Philadelphia Pike through next traffic light.
Campus on left.
